Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week – Las Vegas Conference Photographer

On January 23-26th, I was hired as a Las Vegas Conference Photographer for the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week event. This took place at The Mirage at Las Vegas, NV. This was the largest gathering in North America of the independent heavy duty industry. More than 2,000 people showed up! These people were executives, managers, distributors, suppliers, educators, and much more. They came from places all over. Many were from the United States and Canada, but people also came from six other countries.

What Happens During HDAW?

People who attend this conference have valuable networking opportunities. They get a chance to meet with the top industry executives. They come from all of the major heavy duty manufacturers and distributors. People meet each other through one on one meetings. They also form connections through social events. One example is the product expo. There are so many educational opportunities. For example, you can listen to top speakers give important speeches and presentations. Here, they will talk about their business experiences. Speakers also give tips for success. There was also a popular one-on-one business meeting program between manufacturers and distributors. More than 1,800 of these meetings took place! These meetings are about 35 minutes long. Being a Las Vegas Conference Photographer, I had the opportunity to photograph so many inspiring people. Attendees, speakers, and much more.

Leaders of Tomorrow 

This event is for people who are under the age of 45. It is a networking event. Here, people can grow their connections. Leaders can also learn methods from elders about how they can advance their careers. They learn important skills and tips. Conference Photography in Las Vegas is such an inspiring thing to do. Being surrounded by influential leaders is an amazing experience. I can only imagine how others felt!

Product Expo

The Product Expo in 2017 was the most diverse one to date. More than 350 exhibit spaces were in use. During this expo, people saw so many new products. They were able to see the latest in heavy-duty technology, trends, and ideas. They could also form new connections and meet new people. One part of my conference photography included taking photos of this exciting product expo.

Overall, the HDAW was such a fun event to attend and of course photograph ;). I enjoyed every minute of it. The people there seemed to have a great time meeting new people and learning new things. This event happens every year. If you didn’t make it this year, you will not want to miss next year! The HDAW gets better each year.
