Special Operations Charity Network Event
The Special Operations Charity Network recently had a Charity Event in Las Vegas on January 17th, 2017. It took place at Tropicana Las Vegas, in the Havana room. The Special Operations Charity Network (SOCN) is a group made out of passionate volunteers. They are loyal to the well-being of their country’s Special Operations employees, whether they are still working or they retired. They also care about the families of these personnel. The SOCN does an incredible job in fundraising through various events throughout the year. They state that all of the funds that they raise go towards “vetted special operations charities”. They also hold silent auctions and sell donated items online to fund raise even more.

Anyone that wants to join is SOCN is welcome to become a volunteer to help their noble efforts. Their charity event in Las Vegas had a number of well-known people attend. Johnathon Schaech was one of the Hollywood VIP guests that attended. Johnathon is a famous actor, writer, and producer and has produced and acted in many movies. The President of SOCN is Doug Scott, and the Executive Vice President is Gary O’Neal.
The mission of SOCN is to not only embrace all Special Operations Forces, but also to embrace their families. They aim to preserve and sustain their elite warriors and their cause through providing financial support, fundraising, marketing, and raising awareness.
Their vision is to deliver support to vetted charities that need help. They support these charities by collaborative efforts in the special operations community, and though fundraising and getting everyone together for events. The creed of the SOCN is “Never leave our brothers behind,” and they follow that with their mantra “We are our brother’s keeper.” The Special Operations Charity Network does everything that they can to protect their nation’s heroes, along with their families.
The charity event in Las Vegas was the perfect way to raise funds and raise awareness about the incredible efforts of the SOCN. We were very happy to participate and be the charity event photographer for SOCN Las Vegas. Here are some photos from the event:
